Making a short story long: People are always looking for ways to bash banks and when they see the HSBC advertising and sponsorship around various airports, they comment on the energy consumed. What most people don’t realise is that at Gatwick, all the energy is provided by solar panels that HSBC installed. We used an interactive, augmented-reality unit to tell people about this initiative as well as other projects around the world and then gave them the chance to put their new-found knowledge to the test in a game which challenged them to power a city.
